Under the Rug Productions was established in 2008 by Producer Andrea Vestrand, Director Valentina Avayu and Cinematographer Meena Singh in our mutual quest to create compelling narrative works with an artistic foundation. We have merged our unique approach to storytelling with the business of entertainment, expanding our vision into highly stylized commercial work and video clips from conception to completion. Due to our eclectic mix of backgrounds, we cater to American viewers as well as foreign audiences, broadcasting our films in festivals across the globe. As collaborators, we tell stories about characters whose decisions lie outside societal norms. We are curious about the mind’s process and one’s journey through a world less traveled.
